“ Simple cafe with very good food. Nothing fancy about this place (tables, no booths, minimal decor) but it's very popular with locals. The catfish has been rated best in Missouri, but u enjoyed country fried steak with white gravy and mashed potatoes, green beans (canned but fine) and sweet tea. Their blackberry cobbler alone is worth the trip! Service was provided by a quiet, competent man, who warmed up to us. ”

Other notable dishes were the Buffalo Chicken salad, fried catfish, ribeye (great value for the price), burgers and pork tenderloin sandwich. Very affordable! The two1- star reviews seem a little fishy (pun intended!). I have been probably 30 times with a family of five..... never had any issues with food quality. ”
